Being confronted by social media everyday has made me question communication standards of today. A world in which we have a hard time really connecting. A world where feelings of loneliness and alienation are becoming a bigger problem every day.

I came up with a way to combat this. Where church bells used to bring people together in the past I now used gongs to bring people together and they can make music by hitting the gongs for six hours. I won’t move all that time.
Its also about the audience touching my hair.

I braid long braids in my hair and at the end drumsticks are attached. There are gongs in the space that can be played with the drumsticks.
I stand in the space. The audience can participate.
