RHINE MOUTH RESONANT KIT, 2026

RHINE MOUTH RESONANT KIT is a spatial installation from second-hand drums, cymbals and hardware with sediment and water from the Rhine delta as resonant medium. Copper and metallic surfaces reference conductivity, extraction, reflection. The kit is displayed as a sculptural instrument, accumulating meaning without being played. Imposed components become condition, a procedural score testing what may sound, what is sealed, extracted, transformed, what returns as silt.

RHINE MOUTH RESONANT KIT is a new work and will debut at the programme TENDER TERRITORIES, where twenty-five international art positions will reflect on the experiences gained during the explorations along the border and around the Rhine accomodated by transnational network BORDERLAND RESIDENCIES.
